Drown Within Records

Under The Ocean are an Italian five-piece, formed in 2006 in the city of Parma as Firstborn Underocean. In the beginning they played a modern form of Metalcore / Deathcore, cf. their debut album Gates (2011, shortly after the changed their moniker from Firstborn Underocean into the current one).

Besides the release of a demo (in 2008), the EP Heartworm is the sole official recording by Italian five-piece Dementia Senex (line-up: bass player Federico Cucchi, drummer Mattia Bagnolini, guitarists Filippo Merloni and Marco Righetti, and singer Cristian Franchini).

The young Italian label Drown Within Records (young, because they were formed in Spring 2013) did send our headquarters the four releases they have on their roster (up till now - I think, and hope, their roster will grow proportionally), i.e. (in chronological order) Dementia Senex, Under The Ocean, Emrevoid and Sedna. All of them will be reviewed by undersigned, evidently, and I’ll start with the third one (don’t ask me why; it’s just an ad random decision), i.e.
