Crystal Eyes was formed in 1992 In Sweden by Mikael Dahl and Niclas Karlsson to keep the legacy of heavy metal set in the 80's by Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Accept etc. Current members are: Mikael Dahl - Vocals, Guitar / Niclas Karlsson – Guitar / Claes Wikander – Bass / Martin Tilander – Drums.

After 4 demo’s  and 6 Full-length their seventh cd “Killers” recorded at Crystal Sounds and mixed by Frederic Nordström at studio Fredman (Arch Enemy, At The Gates, Dimmu Borgir,

Dream Evil, …). Starting the cd first track “Killer” is the title track starting with some grate guitar riff and an exploding drum. When Mikael opens his thought and screams the number starts to run like a train, smooth and with some speed heading to the next song. “Warrior” starts an Iron Maiden-like riff but then it turns in a journey with a great voice than blends with the guitar play. I like to listen to it. “Forgotten Realms” start with some classic guitar play easy and smooth what a song you can feel the passion of this song. Thank for the great retro hardrock. And then “The Lord Of Chaos” runs into your brain and is still playing, this is one of my favorites. Overall if you like the old hardrock or you want to be introduced buy this record. Also great tracks on a row!
