This band is a three-piece at heart, musically rooted in the raw energy and rhythmic interplay of Rush and King's X. Fans of dark, guitar-driven rock bands from Alice In Chains, Deftones to the contemporary metal riffing of Lamb of God and Pantera, will connect to the heavy core of Iris Divine's sound.

"The Everlasting Sea" , nice powerful groovy with some great breaking solo's! Navid Rashid's vocals are noticed right away thanks to the great reach of his voice. The start of the album is for me good but not great, the further I go the more excited I get. Taking us to track six, "In Spirals", this instrumental song gave me goosebumps!

Karma Sown is a very cohesive overall experience so it's difficult calling out specific songs!! (Except "In Spirals" of course). With luck, Karma Sown will be the album that brings Iris Divine to the attention of the larger progressive metal audience. It's a nice progressive metal album and is highly recommended to any fan of the genre!
