Legion Of The Damned is a black/trash metal band from the Netherlands. The band started in 1992 under the name Occult. In 2005 they changed the name to Legion Of The Damned. Ravenous Plague is the sixth album of the band under the name Legion Of The Damned. Former band member, Twan Fleuren, committed suicide on 21 May 2011 and Richards Ebisch, the co-founder of the band, left the band.

The year 2004 is for Legion Of The Damned a kind of a new start with their new line-up. And what a start... Songs as Howling For Armageddon, Armalite Assasin and Summon All Hate are typical Legion Of The Damned songs. They are full of power and action. When I was listening to the album, I started headbanging spontaneously. I really like the intro of the album. It is very musical. The song Black Baron is full of subtle breaks. The guitar solos of their new guitarist 'Twan van Geel' are very explosive and his riffs are very impressive. I am pleasantly surprised about Ravenenous Plague. I think they are one of the best trash metal bands of the Netherlands. I hope that did isn't there last album.
