A short one, but I think worth being mentioned: Born Again Misanthrope by Plutonium. It’s an outfit by a guy who calls himself MR J, and with Born Again Misanthrope he releases a third full length under the Plutonium moniker, each time with quite some time in between them.

What does this stand for? Well, actually it’s a mostly weird and experimental form of Black-oriented Metal, quite eccentric and adventurous, with an overload on traditional aspects, smartly mingled with progressive and post-modern elements.

Often I get nauseous from this kind of experiment, but since the exaggeration is inferior to the creativity, I think Plutonium easily exceed the level of many, many colleagues. The Post-Industrial and Grim Black Metal symbiosis is remarkably high-levelled when talking about song writing and execution, as well as sound and atmosphere. So forgive me for being so ‘limited’ in my writing ‘skills’ this time, but ‘let the music do the talking’. If you appreciate matured progressive (Extreme) Metal with that little more in craftsmanship, and that little less in infantile exaggeration, then this album isn’t but a must! Believe me! Some minor elements, but as mentioned before: I would keep it short, and my overall opinion, though being totally subjective, is as happily smiling as the cover picture’s skull!
