CD REVIEW LACRIMOSA
LACRIMOSA: “Lichtgestalt” (Hall Of Sermon – Suburban)

Welcome to Tilo Wolff’s private world with this new full ninth album of Lacrimosa which is by now an added value of the Goth-Metal scene for almost 15 years. Tilo Wolff, as well as co-member Anne Nurmi presents with this new cd of over 70 minutes an epical orchestral monster story. Starting with acoustic guitar and hobo, evolving into an exploding opener “Sapphire”. Most of the songs are in the native language German with two exceptions “My Last Goodbye” and “The Party Is Over”. Tilo Wolff is showing once again his exceptional talent of composing, arranging, orchestrating and singing. Therefore the music sounds like an epic soundtrack by a gothic movie and all the pathos and kitsch will be except. Another piece of work full of emotions has born.
