“Kingdom Of Sorrow” is the self-titled debut album from the American sludgecore metal band Kingdom Of Sorrow , sometimes abbreviated to KOS.

The band was formed in 2005 as a side project and it features a line-up that is composed of the following members: Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed / Icepick (vocals), Kirk Windstein of Down / Crowbar (vocals & guitars), Steve Gibb of Crowbar / Ex- Black Label Society (guitar), Derek Kerswill of Seemless / Unearth (drums) and Matthew Brunson of Nola Freak (bass). The punishing sound of Kingdom Of Sorrow is based upon the crusty, dirty riffs of Kirk Windstein and the intense singing and growling of Jamey Jasta , who explores his vocal territory on this album.

The album of Crowbreed (an obvious amalgam of Crowbar and Hatebreed ) contains 11 haunting tracks (almost 40 minutes playing time), including the following crushing highlights: the opening track “Hear This Prayer For Her” , “Grieve A Lifetime” , “Piece It All Back Together” , the single “Led Into Demise” , “Demon Eyes (Demonized)” , “Free The Fallen” , “Lead The Ghosts Astray” and “Buried In Black”. A European tour is planned for the fall of 2008, something to look forward to.
