Album Title : Indestructible
Label : Reprise Records/Warner
Distribution : Warner
Release date : June 2008
Review : CD
“Indestructible” is the fourth studio album from the American NU metal band Disturbed. The four-piece alternative metal band was formed in 1996 in Chicago, Illinois.
Since their debut album, “The Sickness” (2000), Disturbed have sold over 10 million albums worldwide and “Indestructible” is Disturbed's third consecutive #1 debut in the Billboard 200 USA.
This new album was produced by Disturbed themselves and demonstrates a darker, more evil side of the band. But the fans can be assured: the typical Disturbed sound with the pummeling riffs and characteristic voice of singer David Draiman (oah oah) still is omnipresent.
“Indestructible”,the follow-up for “Ten Thousand Fists” (2005), contains 12 tracks (49 minutes playing time), including the following highlights: the opening track and title track “Indestructible”, the first single “Inside The Fire”, “The Night”, “Perfect Insanity” (which is a newly re-recorded version of an old track from before their first album, “The Sickness”), “The Curse”, “Criminal” (which was already recorded during the sessions for “Ten Thousand Fists”) and “Façade”.
Disturbed will probably do a European tour at the end of 2008 or beginning of 2009.
