The package captures the band's explosive 90 minute show filmed at Los Angeles' Orpheum Theatre on November 2007. Many extras allow fans to go behind the scenes both on stage and off stage with front man Ville Valo. "Digital Versatile Doom" features live versions of songs from HIM's current album "Venus Doom" including the singles "The Kiss of Dawn", "Passion's Killing Floor" and "Bleed Well" combined with their music videos. The DVD also features tracks off the band's 2005 United States debut "Dark Light" including "Rip Out the Wings of a Butterfly" and "Killing Loneliness". Other extras on the DVD include band interviews, fan contest clips and the music videos for "Bleed Well", "Venus Doom" and "The Kiss of Dawn". The concert and several of the videos were directed by MTV and Grammy-Award winning director Meiert Avis, known for his work with U2, Audioslave and Bruce Springsteen. Fans will also be able to watch the journey of HIM's biggest fans as they travel to Seattle to meet the band. For the fans of HIM is this double feature a must have. Truly metal lovers can easily live without it.
