Sacred Mother Tongue is a very young exciting metal band from the UK. Their new single “Two Thousand Eight Hundred” is aninfectious and bone-crunching new one with exuberant, crisp guitar licks combine with epic melodic choruses and powerful soaring vocals. The two tracks on this single offer very much epitomise modern metal with ultra tight playing, monster drumming and vocals that are gravel one minute and soaring falsetto the next. The second song “The Suffering” is a strong dark song.The level of musicianship is high and leading track “Two Thousand Eight Hundred” is also as a video track on this single. This sees a performance of the band. It’s a shame that there are only two tracks available to get a complete view of the band but they are promising. So it’s waiting for their debut album that they are busy working on.
