Hahah, when I read this Dutch band's biography on MySpace, I had a good laught, and since I like to spread a little joy around myself, I will not deprive you from the Hollanders' funny wits...so here it is: the Said And Done biography, short version: "bla bla bla. hardcore. bla bla bla"! Funny enough, had your larf? Well, then let's get down to serious business!!!

In 2006, two tracks recorded with Michiel Toernink introduced the St. Antonius (North Braband province) based quintet's take on raw but grooving and melodic NY-styled Hardcore to the world when they put 'em online. And this got SAD's name out real fast...because at the end of that same year they were recording their debut full-length album Everyday with Patrick Delabie. The album, released both on vinyl and CD by Shield Recordings during 2007, got great feedback. Live, the band raided stages in Holland aplenty, and also undertook a trip which got them through Belgium, Germany, Spain, and the UK.

At the beginning of this year the guys dove into Belgium's Dé Studio (Asse) with producer Dirk Miers to record the 6 tracks which constitute the Endless Roads mini-album (total length only 18:35), and which sees the band continue to build on the Cro-Mags/ Leeway/ Maximum Penalty influenced sound they have become known for, adding new influences from the likes of Motörhead and Only Living Witness. But all that is just name-dropping and may (as the bio at myspace.com/saidanddonehardcore also tells) confuse you and give you a wrong idea. It is therefore better to let the music speak for itself. Surf to MySpace to find a total of 4 songs off the debut full-length, and (regrettably only) one track off the EP!

The artwork consists of pictures taken at the band's tour of Spain last year, and the band has already planned to return there this Summer (July) for a short trip which will also take 'em on a couple of gigs in France (and one in Germany). For more details, check the band's MySpace!
