The Mexican self made man, Jacobo Córdova, who plays all instruments on his debut album “Man Made Paradise”,  decided in 2006 that it was time to follow his own path which led to his one man army known as Ticket To Hell. Cordova, well known from his “Antiqua” and “Project Firestart”-music, can’t hind his love for trash metal and death metal. The song writing on “Man Made Paradise” is on the one hand rooted in thrash eighties metal, but on the other hand there are also slices of death metal included. This is an eight track thrash metal bliss with change-ups, blistering solos and unholy screams. It’s a new genre of music he’s bringing that’s called skull crushing extreme metal. Mainly because of the combination with his country Mexico. This first full length album stayed true to the good things from the past. The influences of the old school trash are clearly there. The music is dirty, the music is raw and the music is real. And it’s obvious Cordova took control of everything especially the sound because this album isn’t overproduced in the studio. In this time it’s peculiar that an album is built around one ego. It sounds just like one solid piece.
