Origin may be one of my favourite Relapse -bands, and this newest album will strengthen my vision about this band, featuring former members of, for example, Dying Fetus , Cannibal Corpse , Skinless and Angel Corpse . In the vein of the former album, Echoes Of Decimation , Antithesis stands for an extremely fast, somewhat hyper-sonic form of grinding Death Metal, interspersed with different grunts and screams, an ultra-heavy rhythm section and fierce, fiery guitar solos. Antithesis might be the fastest, heaviest and most brutal album to date, and if you are trusted with Origin 's former material, then you know what to expect: terror, brutality, a soundtrack for nature's most extreme disasters! One might think to have heard it all before (think: Necrophagist , Aborted , Vermin , Cannibal Corpse , Suffocation , Incantation , The Black Dahlia Murder , Deicide , Vital Remains and so on), yet if you get through the different layers, you might see (read: hear) Origin 's own face. A cure for heart diseases!
