No, no..this ain't no continuation of the Real To Reel album which Tesla released last year! It ain't even a re-release with addition of that sought-after bonus disc which was available only to the readers of the August 2007 edition of British Classic Rock magazine (which was also available in backstock for a while)!

So, what gives? Will Tesla be touring in Europe soon, and are they just "preparing the field" by putting new promotion in their last outing? Well, a look at their touring (currently known) schedule reveals us nothing at all, but we happen to know that they have a spot at Belgium's biggest Metal festival Graspop this year, so maybe they're merely making use of that fact to promote and boost sales of their last album again. If you're interested in knowing what's on offer on that covers album, check out the review which we did about it and posted on August 28 of last year. At myspace.com/teslatheband, you can listen to an mp3-file of óne track ( "Stealin'" ) off that album (plus one off the Reel 2 disc, which shoùld be available in retail...so why send us the Reel 1 when we were asking for that other one in the first place? Mysterious promotional ways, really, but then maybe the distributor wasn't even given – enough – promo copies of Reel 2 for an all-out promotion...?).

One thing I'll say about the album is that, after almost a year, it starts to sound better and better. Still...for when some new material, uh?

Tony.
