Band : La Ira De Dios I can't say that I'm totally overwhelmed by La Ira de Dios third release, because the production could've been more dynamic and powerful. Well, I quite liked the previous release Archaeopterix and while others are hailing Cosmos Kaos Destruccion as much better, it did not grab me the same way. What differs from the band's last album, La Ira De Dios travel deeper into garage rock and much less into kraut rock territory. Guitarist Chino’s vocals can be compared with the ones of Sergio, and this CD includes a few moments, where the last average Los Natas album El Hombre Montana have left a few traces in their sound.. The songs are played well, some good guitar work and energetic nervous grooves, but there are no real highlights on this album. I think, this Peruvian trio has their finest moments when they are coming up with some jam-like parts, which reminds me to the early Monster Magnet CD Tab 25. But still they have lost something from its originality and most of the eight tracks are very similar, a galaxy fight between Hawkwind, Los Natas and The Stooges, but the audience unfortunately is no winner!
