Band : Cinema Bizarre Album Title :Final Attraction Label : Island Records Distributor : Universal Records Release Date :05/05/2008 Release : CD Cinema Bizarre is a new German band that will make a profit of the success of Tokio Hotel. Although they each have a unique look that appeals to the youth but their music is entirely different. The first song on this album is released as a single before the release of their first album. “ Lovesongs” is a good balance between guitars and electronics. It even sounds a bit like Placebo. This first album can be described as cyber rock with carrying melodies. The influence of Depeche Mode can't be denied especially on the second song “How Does It Feel” and on “Dysfunctional Family”. On “Escape To The Stars” they even took a guitar riffs from Depeche Mode's “Everything Counts”. With the release of their debut album for Island Records the German Rock band Cinema Bizarre has proven to the public that they are a new act that is worth taking notice of. With a sound that mixes glam rock, gothic rock and new wave this young German band with a love for Japan will be pushed to something hot. This band will be the sensation in the future. 80/100 Guido Claes. |
