Live In L.A. (Death & Raw) was originally recorded in 1998 and released in 2001 (October, to be more specific). Now, eight years later, the DVD gets re-released, yet without any additional element (no bonus tracks, no re-mastering). The live-registration (thirteen tracks with a total running time of about eighty minutes) comes with an average quality, which goes for both sound and visuals. That’s sad, because the performance itself is just superb. Death do not need firework, naked women or a moving stage to impress. But as said before, the quality could have been better. Oh yes, Nuclear Blast did also release an album-version from this concert.
