As another single from their fourth album “Lead Sails Paper Anchor” (2007), Atreyu have released “Doomsday”, the opening track of the just-mentioned album.
Some people accused Atreyu of sell-out since they signed with a big record company and changed their sound to a more accessible one, but personally I think “Lead Sails Paper Anchor” is an excellent album.
OK, it’s less hardcore than before and more melodic than ever, but the songs have so many potential that almost every album track could be a single. And for “Doomsday”, that’s no different.
