Band : Benjamin Diamond Album Title : Baby’s On Fire Remixes Label : Diamondtraxx Records Distributor : Diamondtraxx Records Release Date : 03/10/2008 Release : CDS Benjamin Diamond is a French singer who’s started as a punk rocker in the band Chicken Pox but taking inspiration from artists such as New Order, Michael Jackson and Roxy Music. He moved towards electro and joined The Party. However he is best known for his collaboration in Stardust with Alan Braxe and Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk. He even sang the lyrics in their 1998 single "Music Sounds Better With You" which was an international success. And this of course sparked interest in Diamond's own music. With his first two albums “Strange Attitude” and “Out of Myself” Diamond is moving in a more pop-oriented way and has now released a new single called “Baby's On Fire”. It’s an awesome track but one of the remixes, the Rafale Remix, is exceptionally good with a wonderful piano part. It’s just waiting when the man will announce his third full length album. 70/100 Guido Claes. |
