Olivier Jourdan on vocals, Wilfried Jourdan on keyboards, Franck Pompidor on drums and Cyrille Sudreaud on guitar and backing vocals are the band members of the French band Hushpuppies. An old friend Guillaume Le Guen joined them. He’s known as the best bass player from France. Hushpuppies topped the French independent charts with their first album in 2005 and now they released their follow up album “Silence Is Golden”. The independent Parisian label, run by Benjamin Diamond, the unforgettable voice of Stardust and the hit “Music Sounds Better With You”, has shared the destiny of Hushpuppies since the very beginning. Peter Deimel produced the new album. He began as a disciple of Steve Albini and the German producer has teamed-up with bands like dEUS and The Kills. He truly is the craftsman behind the making of this new album “Silence Is Golden”. Hushpuppies are a stylish garage rock band who have listened a lot to The Who.
