Band: Deranged Title: The Red Light Murder Case Label: Regain Records Distribution: Suburban Release date: March 2008 Review: CD Deranged 's seventh full length album again stands as a fist, a murderous, torturous fist in the face of peace and tolerance! In the vein of Obscenities In B-Flat ( Listenable Records , 2006), The Red Light Murder Case blasts as a fierce storm wind for more than thirty five minutes. This overpowering and blasting Death Metal anthem has been recorded at the Berno Studio and it might be one of the most intense sounds ever created at this recording house. Vicious, barbaric, violent, merciless, it is just a first thought of this intense opus. Both the technical compositions and the lyrical concept, dealing with the mind of a sadistic murderer, have a certain touch of adorable perversity, yet that also means that this soundtrack for death isn't meant for the huge masses. Only recommended to sicko's with strong stomachs! Line-up: Martin Schönherr (vocals, lyrics; Virgin Sin , Splattered Mermaids ), Rikard Wermen (d; also known from bands as Killaman and Murder Corporation ), Johan Axelsson (g; also involved with, for example, Insision and Killaman ) and Thomas Ahlgren (b). 80/100 Ivan Tibos. |
