The 2007-edition of the famous Metal Mania festival ( Katowice , Poland ) has been caught on tape / DVD for the Polish label Metal Mind and features over two hundred minutes of live material. The overall sound isn't that fabulous, yet it is mostly appreciable, and this also goes for the visual aspects. Bands featuring (with the number of tracks) are: Korpiklaani (3), Crystal Abyss (1), Darzamat (2), Zyklon (3), Vital Remains (3), Entombed (3), Destruction (3), Blaze Bailey (3), Sepultura (3), Paradise Lost (1), and Testament , with five tracks. Along with this live registration, the DVD also contains some back ground material from the festival, interviews, a photo gallery, band information and so on. Indeed, the usual ingredients for such kind of DVD, of course. There is also a version with a bonus-CD. Because the DVD only exposes bands that performed on the main stage, the extra CD does contain material (not live!) from bands that performed on the side stage: Carnal , Horrorscope , Tyr , Witchking , Sphere , Deivos , Benediction , Forever Will Burn , Root , Ciryam and Wu-Hae . Only for DVD-freaks or those who were there, I guess…
