This album has the format of a EP with only 25 minutes of rather boring music. Every song lasted so long that you’re pleased when it comes to an end. This awful piece of shit with the title “5 Ways To Illuminate Silence” is brought to us by four gentlemen and one lady of Mourning Rise. They could better have called it “Shut up and let silence speak for its self”. But instead of it they have given this pile of pretentious nonsense to the listeners. Although its beautifully styled nonsense, Mourning Rise tried to put all musical genres in one album. It’s a mix of traditional metal, world music, pop, opera, jazz and many other styles. The song “Hieroglyphic Idiocy” deals with an ancient Egypt sound and is terrible. The other four songs are not much better. Ridiculous lyrics embedded in musical nonsense. Cheap synthesizer entangled with some poor metal is the result of this pure waste of time. Try to avoid this bad material and give your ears the chance to hear some real metal.
