This must be German’s next big thing but it isn’t so. All the songs on their self-titled debut album consists of influences ranging from Evanescence to Blink 182,Green Day to Linkin Park and many others. It makes this album becomes very varied but also very boring. In every song you can hear a different band from the past decade and that’s really annoying. Trustgame even doesn’t have the intention to create their own sound. Each and every one of the melodies and riffs used has been topping the international charts for a number of weeks in the past in a different song. That kind of feeling you get when you listen to them. Besides that vocalist Thorsten Schwesinger possesses the most ugly, faked post-grunge timbre in his voice that gives you constantly the intention that switch that awful album off. Commercial everything looks fine for this German band but musically they are more a boys band than a god metal band. Don’t trust this Trustgame is the only device.

55/100
