Band: Funeral For A Friend Funeral for a Friend is a Welsh Emo/Screamo band, from Wales, UK and was formed in 2001 when the band's singer left the original band line up and Matt Davies took his place. It was also at this moment that they took their current band name that they credited the Elton John song for. Since then, the band has release 1 EP, 4 studio albums, secured their first Kerrang award for "Best UK Newcomer", doing the warped tour and many more. But at what cost, most of the original line up changed over the years and went from one record label to another. Now they joined forces with Roadrunner Records to release their new album called Your history Is Mine. Will they be victorious with this one or will they be attending their own funeral after this one? Although good musicianship and you get 16 songs for your money, it really doesn’t appeal to me. Half of the songs sound like they are forced on the album and the songs that do sound good feel like you heard them before from another band. 69/100 Jeroen. |
