Band: The Black Dahlia Murder The Black Dahlia Murder is an American metal band, that incorporates influences of death, melodic and metal core in it’s music. The band started out in 2000/2001 and got it’s name of an unsolved murder case. At that point, they released a six-track demo and a dour track EP under their own record label. Since then the band new lots of success, did a lot of tours and they released a couple of albums just like everybody. But their previous album being one of the praised albums of the year, gave them the real big brake true. Because of this they couldn’t resist making another one. And this one truly explores the limits of extremity in melodic death metal, but it pays of. This kind of music is appealing to everybody. Fan or no fan of the genre will appreciate its roughness but still being melodic in a well balanced way. 87/100 Jeroen. |
