Band : Voices Of Rock Second chapter already of the all star rock band Voices Of Rock. As on the previous album producing and songwriting was all done by Michael Voss (Mad Max, Michael Schenker) and Chris Laussman (Bonfire, Jaded Heart). With so many talented singers, it's clear that the album's standard is relatively high. A great surprise was that Rob Rock sings the first and I would say only real ballad onthsi album. Upon hearing the intro from Paul Shortino's song, you could almost swear you were listening to Def Leppard, whereas Tony Mill's song sounds almost poppy, and seems slightly out of tune with the rest of this album. But then comes the song performed by Paul Sabu, which is probably the heaviest song on this album. Next is Torben Schmidt, and although it's not a bad song, it does also a bit weaker than the other tracks. To top it all of there's a cover version of "Maniac", sung by Michael Voss. Not a bad effort guys, third installment next year? 87/100 Erik Morren. |
