It's been over four years since we had a new Swingin' Utters album. This isn't really new material, but it's still nice to get an album from Swingin' Utters. Most of the band members have side projects like Johnny and Spike have Filthy Thieving Bastards, Johnny also has Druglords Of The Avenue and Spike has Me First And The Gimme Gimmes. The guys have even more side projects. This relatively new album “Hatest Grits: B-Sides and Bullshit” is a collection of seven inch singles, album B-sides, rare unreleased tracks, compilation songs, covers and nine unreleased early band demos. There's 32 tracks in total and most of them are really great. The last few tracks are some rare-sounding tracks you may have heard on other albums, it's the band playing them acoustically. “Hatest Grits: B-Sides and Bullshit” definitely fills the void of not having a new album from the band in over almost five years. For the fans this is a must have because of the B-Sides and of course it’s always nice to hear “To Return Now”, “Where Are they Now” and “Tomorrow Is Not Now” once again.

70/100
