Cain’s Offering is a brand new band, but it’s members are all well versed in the music business.
Take for instance Jani Liimatainen, the man who was at the basis of this band, he has been with Sonata Arctica since 1996, and parted ways with them in 2007.  And what to say about Timo Kotipelto the genius behind Stratovarius which he recently left.  But the other members (Keyboarder, Bass and drummer) have also acquired a lot of expertise in other bands.

The music can best be described as being influenced by classic hard rock, as well as European power metal.  As could be expected with a band consisting of Finnish musicians, the quality is top notch.  People who’ve listened to albums from Stratovarius cannot deny that Timo Kotipelto has some vocal abilities.  You won’h hear him sing bluesy songs, but for this kind of metal he’s the right person. As for Jani’s  qualities as guitarist…
Of course there are similarities in the music Cain’s Offering make, and the aforementioned bands from which Jani and Timo  were part of, but they didn’t just copy their styles.

With any luck a great future lies ahead of this band.
