This piece of work was started by keyboard player Mikael Rosengren, who wrote the basic material. But due to time and people with the same interest, the songs weren’t completed for some time.

It was when Janne Stark (guitar) joined the same vision of Mikael, that the songs got recorded with a litlle help of former band members of Stark who joined them. The drums, bass and vocals were filled in by Peter Svensson, Michael Mueller and David Fremberg. And thus Constancia was born.
The best way to describe the album is like a Melogressive metal album (Stark his description). The problem with bands in this melodic rock genre is that they sometimes try to much, and that’s not different with these guys. As soon when you put the album on you get washed away by there sound. Not that its’s a bad thing but for some people who prefer the more straight forward and more brutal genre, this will not be their next album on their wishlist.

Although a good album, you can’t stop having the feeling that it misses something.

86/100
