For who doesn’t know these guys, Graveworm is a dark metal band with Black metal, gothic and death metal influences and hail forth from Bruneck Italy. Since their debut ‘Whan Daylight’s Gone’ in 1997, Graveworm had a tradition to releases a new album every two years that get followed up with concerts.
And now 2 years later after their last release (Collateral Effect ), the new album (number 7 ) called Diabolical Figures got in stores last month.
This time their aren’t any changes in the line up but more in their style of music. This time the black metal has changed into more melodic death metal thus making it more commercial (in a good way) so more people can get in touch with the genre.
But older fans don’t be afraid, there are still brutal heavy riffs on the album and if you can believe the band and other fans, this is one of Graveworm’s most brutal album’s to date.
89/100
