Alan Day (Vocals/Guitar), Dan O’Conner (Vocals/Guitar), Joe Weiss (Bass), Josh Lyford (Synth), and Jake Massucco (Drums) are Four Year Strong, An alternative punk band that hails forth from Worcester, MA. Although they already released 3 studio albums witch got them a certain level of popularity, they wanted to do something different in between their last cd and the next one.

One day, they were asked to do a cover song for Pop Goes Punk II. The problem was the guys had so many songs they wanted to cover that they simply couldn’t decide. So they just made an entire album of cover songs like it was the most obvious thing to do.
About the album itself, well the guys love the 90’s and really kept their songs variated. Everything from Alanis Moreset till Smashing Pumpkins and everything in between. This really is a fun album to listen to and get nostalgic about. This may not be the album die hard fans are waiting for, but who needs that if you got an album that makes you laugh.

95/100
