Band: Outloud Outloud is a brand new rock band that surely will rock you to hell and back again. Their debut album is like a 45 minutes rock-n-rollercoaster ride so take your seat, buckle up and scream it out loud just like Chandler Mogel (Talon) and the other guys of the band, Bob Katsionis (Firewind) Mark Cross (Firewind, ex-Helloween) Tony Kash and Jason Mercury. All tracks, except "this broken Heart" and "Lovesigh", are up tempo songs with great guitar riffs and superb guitar solos. Outloud has revived the hardrock sound of the early 80's and it sure brings back some nice R'n R-memories. I was a teenager in the 80' when bands like Bon Jovi, Europe, Motely Crue, Poison, White lion were topping the charts. So now you know what kind of music OUTLOUD stands for: melodic hardrock with an 80's feel. The song "Tonight" immediately reminded me of the song "Runaway" from Bon Jovi. And "Wild life" reminds me of "wild site" from Motely crue. "Lovesigh" is a pretty intense ballad on which Chandler Mogel gives me the chills. I will not reveal anymore because that would ruin the fun of discovering the rest of the album. So stop reading this review and get your ass to the nearest music store and buy it...you will not regret it ... 90/100 Filip Van de Gaer. |
