Pranksters were formed in 2003 in Denmark and released their first demo in 2004. The band toured in their home country Denmark as well as in Sweden, Germany and even Japan and supported acts such as Good Charlotte and Flogging Molly. The band consists of Lars Hornehoj, former front man of Carpe Diem on vocals and guitars, Tim Kristensen, known for his work with Godless Wicked Creeps and Nekromantix on bass and backing vocals and Mikkel Pedersen on drums. He’s known from Understudies, Kentucky Luckies and The Marvins. Their first full length album “Living Disaster” is a good attempt to put the band on the punk map but so far the good news. The threesome is exceedingly inspired by major acts like NOFX and Bad Religion and therefore all originality is hard to find within their melodic punk songs. It isn’t easy to become special in this punk scene these days and Pranksters doesn’t make an exception. They have delivered an average album with no highlights.
