Review: CD + Bonus-DVD
Recorded by Peter (v, g, b) and Paul (d), engineered at Hertz Studio by Wojtek and Slawek Wieslawski (Dissenter, Shadows Land, Crionics, Dies Irae, Suhrim etc), produced + mixed + mastered at Antfarm Studio with Tue Madsen (Aborted, Hatesphere, Cataract, Blood Stain Child, Urkraft, …). Guest vocals by Bart Krysiuk and Maciej Taff (ex-Geisha Goner, Neolithic, Testor, Rootwater), session guitars by Marek Pajak (Panzer X, Esqarial, ex-Amorphous).
Probably the most influential band two decades ago from ‘beyond the Iron Curtain’, and still one of the biggest names within the Polish Death Metal scene.
Forty one minutes of what we’re used to, nothing renewing: technical and intelligent Blast / Death Metal with a modern approach and a morbid attitude. Demonic and blaspheme, merciless, unstoppable, ultra-heavy. It takes my breath, these sonic attacks, driven by the most powerful sound.
Besides, the album consists of two well-played covers: Metallica’s Fight Fire With Fire and Venom’s Black Metal. Very nice!
The bonus-DVD consists of fragments taken at the charity concert for Atrophia Red Sun / Decapitated’s Covan in April this year (Krakow, Poland).
88/100
