Even though this album is one year old that doesn't mean that it's not worth mentioning. On the contrary: It is absolutely worth recommending again and again! All in all 12 tracks on this album that gives you a mindblowing journey through time and space in many dimensions.

My first impression was that of a more sedate and moody Wellwater Conspiracy, a heavier Instant Flight and a less proggy Anekdoten. It isn’t a crawling inside your brain psychedelic freak out, but the melodies, voices, harmonies and colours & lights will get to you in the end. Heavy Water Experiments is a very delicate album which works its way into a musical niche within the first song and sticks with it throughout the album. There isn't a ton of variety between the tracks, but as a solid package, it works well. Essentially the quality of music lasts throughout the album and no song will stand out above the rest, but the consistency of excellence is penetrating throughout.

90/100
