The German Maroon has made sure that people noticed them the last ten years. With ‘Order’ they prove that they still make progress when it comes to songwriting and that’s something we loudly support; Like a madman singer André Moraweck screams his longs out and the heavy rhythm section does the rest. The break in a song like ‘Stay Brutal’ is genius. Here and there the band repets himself maybe a little to much but what band that plays metalcore doesn’t have that. Maroon makes sure they include solo’s that will be loudly applaud by heavy metal fans and that’s what this all is about. Expand your fanbase. The album sounds intense and ends with the 7 minute German song ‘Schatten’ and that sounds more than great. For the first time the band sings in German and when you use your own langue it always sounds even more passionate.
