Band : Danny Rocco Album Title : The Future Is Now Label : Goodlife Records Distributor : Oort Records Europe Release Date : 01/12/2008 Release : CD Danny Rocco is a New York based singer song writer that doesn’t bring any metal at all. He brings an unique wide-ranging talent to the scene. He is young but experienced. His songs are a clear reflection of passionate triumph over life in general. Danny Rocco is backed by hard rock End The Stars which lends his songs an edge and keeps the repertoire fresh. He writes dynamic pop rock influenced by the best of the classic era for a totally compelling push on the listener. Besides his writing and singing Danny Rocco plays violin and orchestrates his recordings. Coming through with eleven songs worth of perfectly crunchy and punchy upbeat pop-rock brightness, this album goes over nice and easy thanks to its breezy tone, snappy melodies, and infectiously exuberant vocals. The songs vary from low-key and thoughtful to more lively and rousing. The arrangements are remarkably bubbly, compact and tuneful, the tempos quick and constant throughout, the beats are light and bouncy, and the overall positive attitude clinches this baby’s status as one engagingly warm and sunny delight. This debut album is quite remarkable but has nothing to do with metal so far. It’s a warm and good pop-rock ballad album with two excellent songs “Out Of The Water” and “Run”. 82/100 Guido Claes. |
