Inside The Dice is the first record for Hungarian metal band VL45. Unfortunately I couldn’t find any info about the band, they do have their own website but due to my lack of speaking Hungarian that wasn’t very helpful.

So unfortunately I’m going to keep this one shorter than normal. If you look at the album as a whole, it works pretty well. Good engineering, musicianship,…. now at certain points the music will sound strange. Vocals and instruments not working together, but the guys were inventive enough to make them come together at certain points to elevate the whole. Like I said, a good album, but maybe a bit to average, it sounds like an American metal band like disturbed or something. Not that it is a bad thing, but I expected more Hungarian elements in the music.
