CD REVIEW Buried Inside

Review : CD

Heavy riff driven mighty monster songs that come from a band hailing from Ottowa, Canada who sound like a cross between Neurosis, Propaghandi, Cult Of Luna and EyeHateGod.

The basic format for a Buried Inside granate is a slashing, repetitive guitar line over a tight, locked-down rhythm section, with N. Shaw churning out lyrics like gunnery sergeant Hartman (Full Metal Jacket). The Canadian outfit did happen to enlist the help of a certain Kurt Ballou (Converge, Coliseum, Disfear) to record this album, so the slight feel of that noise rock style is present Every cut from Spoils Of Failure is real stormer of number ranging from opener “I” right through to “VIII”

Massive, loud and extremely addictive to the listener.

86/100
