After a succesfull solo career Lou Gramm now teamed up with his 2 brothers Ben (drums) and Richard (bass). Together with Andy Knoll (keyboards) & Don Mancuso (guitars) they formed The Lou Gramm band.
Their self titled album takes you back to late seventies/early eighties when melodic rock music was controlling the hit charts. "A must have" album if you were a teenager back then as it would perfectly fit in your collection of rock bands of that era.

"Baptized by fire", "Made to be broken" & "Willing to forgive" are up tempo songs with a nice balance between guitar, vocals and synths. "That's the way God planned it" set a different more spiritual mood while "I wanna testify" has a bluesy guitar riff and splendid backing vocals. "So Great" is one of my favorites... it really breaths the ghost of Foreigner. Lou Gramm & Co at their best while "Redeemer", "Single Vision" and "Rattle Yer Bones" remain far beyond my expectations. The final track "You saved me" is a song in the very finest Foreigner tradition.

Foreinger, that was yesterday....long live The Lou Gramm Band
