Nightmare Records continue to amaze us with all these new power/ prog metal acts these last months. And once again this, for a first album, is a good one. Now of course the musicians who make up this group (or project) have already proven themselves. Fred Marschall you know from his work with Zero Hour, while bass player Steve DiGiorgio and drummer Jon Allen might ring some bells by those familiar with Testament and Sadus. The two men at the basis of this group were the two guitarists, Christian Wentz and Marc Patisson.

The music is a mix, ranging from hard hitting riffs (e.g. the first song on the album "Relentless Chaos") going to sublime melodious songs like "Beyond Despair". There's only one minus point on this album, and that's the cover of the Maiden song "Powerslave". Sorry guys, but for a long time Maiden fan as myself, almost nothing can beat the original.

81/100
