Enforcer’s music is built upon the structures of 80s power/speed/thrash and fans of bands like Savage Grace, Kill ‘Em All-era Metallica, Jaguar, Acid and Exciter will want to give this one a spin..

The disc spins off with “Black angel” a pounding riff-monster played in 80's Power / SpeedMetal tradition, rolling on gripping repetition leads and a double-bass drummed drive. If you like this track, you’ll surely also love the rest of the album. This song basically sets the tone for the entire repertoire that is all curved around the killer-riffage and crusing guitarsolos of Adam Zaars and the distinctive powerhouse vocals of Olde Wikstrand  that moves somewhere in between Paul Merrell (Jaguar) and Brian Ross (Satan.) More down NWOBHM territories is “Mistress from hell” and “Into the night” rolling on a repetitive lead over a standard-type, loose and lethal-tempo drive, in a way reminiscent of Jaguar and Savage. The use of the scorching Maiden-instrumental “City lights” alone makes this one a winner for me, as it brings to mind so much of the music I listened to while growing up.

There is one thing all these songs have in common: they are extremely catchy without sacrificing the required aggression. An awesome disc.
