Formed in 1995, Shadows Fall is an American trash metal band that hails forth from Springfield, Massachusetts. Since its formation (and some line up changes), Shadows Fall has released five studio albums, two compilation albums, and one DVD. But that’s not all, the band has been touring a lot and even got to play on the Black crusade tour a couple years ago with Trivium, Machine head and Arch Enemy.

For previous work, the band even got a Grammy award (for the song “Redemption”). If you know their work, you will notice (after a surprisingly amusing acoustic intro) that the band has stayed faithful to their “song making formula”, a bit to faithful if you ask me. Although al very good musicians in the band, It really feels like they could have done more on the record. My need for new cool material isn’t satisfied.
