As I’ve said before, albums that are 100 % instrumental, mostly start to bore me after a few songs.

This is also true for this album, the third album Simone Fiorletta releases.  However I managed to listen to it till the fifth song, before boredom made his intro. So one might say that at least he’s managed to capture my attention for most of the album.

That said, maybe this is the case because on some songs I get some reminiscence of the soundtrack of the TV series Miami Vice, indeed, to me there are some hints of Jan Hammer.
But after the first five songs it all gets a bit too much for me.  Technically Simone may be a very talented musician, and the other musicians that have aided him in recording this album may also have proven their worth, but I lack some vocals.

Those that are into modern instrumental rock should definitely give this album a listening.

65/100
