Blanc Faces released their debut CD in 2005, a great album by all standards.  Now this, their second effort is even better, and will be highly ranked in my top 10 of 2009 releases.

Perfect AOR, no fan of Journey, Survivor or even Foreigner should miss.  I personally even find hints of Biloxi especially in the vocal department.  Big harmonies, great vocals, and to top it off  beautiful and catchy songs.  Just listen to the title song “Falling From The Moon” and you’ll immediately know what I mean. Production was done by Dennis Ward, always a guarantee for a well produced album. The album was dedicated to Kyle Woodring (Styx, Survivor) who played the drums, and who abruptly died a few weeks after the recording was done. As I said before, this is perfect AOR reminiscent of the best releases from way back in the eighties.  I sure hope they continue in the same vein, and bring out many more of these gems.
