Band : Cinderella More or less following in the footsteps op Mr. Big, be it in a different rock genre, Cinderella are back with a live album, in the original line-up. After their disbanding in 1995, the saw many reuniting for touring between 1998 and now. Could it be that this time they might return for good ? Only time will tell, but so far it seems they only have plans for a live comeback, since there's little or no sign or tales of releasing new material. Now I want to warn all Cinderella fans, this is not a release of recent material, since these recordings date back 4 or 5 years and were made during a tour sponsored by VH1 called "Rock Never Stops" featuring also Ratt and Quiet Riot. It seems this release was planned to wet ten the appetite for the planned 2010 tour. As I said before, no new material, but all songs are surely known by the fans. People who only know Cinderella from their ballads should give this CD a try before buying it, since Cinderella did play hair metal, but with lots of influences of blues. Also after a few songs people might be but of by the voice of Tom Keifer, since he has a very distinct sound. 69/100 Erik Morren. |
