Band: Enter Shikari Enter Shikari are an English electro/dance/Post-hardcore band, that formed in 2003 in Hertfordshire and were formed as an evolution from an earlier band called Hybryd. Their debut album, “Take to the Skies” was released, 2007 and reached #4 in the Official UK Album Chart. Their second album, (being this one) has been given the name “Common Dreads”. I still remember the time when that album got out, it got released with their single “Anything can happen in the next half hour….”. It was big hit, especially with the girls my age back then, well actually only the girls back than. And although their lyrics were not that average, their music had something melodic/emotional that got appreciated by a lot. This new album turned out very similar, the band used the same formula but to much and it lacks that certain feeling witch made it’s predecessor that huge and make it more of a fan thing than something that will appeal to the big crowds. 78/100 Jeroen. |
