Band: The Order The Order is a Swiss band that is heavily influenced by all the favorites from the 80s. Guitarist Bruno Spring, Andrej Abplanalp on bass and Tschibu Casciero on drums makes up the band. These guys have been playing together in various bands for a long time and are joined by Pure Inc singer Gianni Pontillo. After their highly acclaimed debut Son Of Armageddon (2006) and Metal Casino (2007), which received lots of good reviews, they released Rockwolf. This album is a blast from the past with recognizable themes, sounds and vocals, but in a way that it doesn’t sound as a total rip of. Most bands these days always want to sound like their hero’s and fail to, but somehow the order makes a big shot at it. This one is for all you 80’s heavy metal (and a bit of glam) fans. Enjoy a fine record and enjoy the cover of “Wild Boys” (Duran Duran) even more. 84/100 Jeroen. |
