Band : Cirkus ‘In the late 60’s Led Zeppelin gave us “Whole Lotta Love”. Then the 70’s hit and The Clash rang saying “London Calling”, and we answered. In the 80’s Guns ‘N’ Roses took us all to “Paradise City”. The 90’s came and so did Nirvana, saying it “Smells Like Teen Spirit”. Now it’s 2008 and along come Cirkus telling us Let the Madness Begin…and it has, look around folks!’ This must be some kind of joke, because the pure silliness of this biography is just too much. Cirkus has the sound of just too many bands out there today with no real spark to set them apart. Their brand of glam meets hardrock has no kick and fails in their attempt to entertain. Let The Madness Begin occasionally shows signs of life, but sadly, even those sound pale. Add this one to the skip category. 50/100 Peter Brems. |
